The best of L.A. does not play in Anaheim

One might say, the Angels have the winning record in head-to-head series, but they do not just play each other. The history of baseball in Southern California and the winning tradition belongs to the Dodgers.
The argument can even be taken off the field. How can a team be deemed king of Los Angeles, when their stadium is not even in the Los Angeles County?
If the question was, who is the king of Orange County?
Then my vote goes for the Angels. They should change their name back to the Anaheim Angels, and all will be forgiven.
Another thing that makes the Dodgers a superior baseball franchise, is the fact that the Dodger Dog is a well-known ball park frank around the world. No one has ever heard of the Angel Dog, because quite simply, it does not exist.
For as long as the national pastime has a team in the city of Los Angeles, baseball will always be synonymous with the Dodgers. They have been here longer; have more championships, and are a flat-out better franchise. For now and years to come, Dodger blue will always be the city's colors.
