Why Kobe Bryant is better than Michael Jordan

Like I said, it's not just stats that make the man a legend. Kobe Bryant puts cheeks in the seats. In Jordan's final All-Star game Kobe ruined Michael's potential game-winning shot, getting to the rack and forcing the game into overtime. The swagger Kobe brings to the court can't be matched. There is no other athlete that coaches and players would rather have take the final shot in a game than Mr. 81. There is ICE in his veins. Jordan was spoiled by an illustrious career filled with role playing teammates and motivated coaches, something Kobe has not been as fortunate to attain.

The most influential aspect in deciphering who is the best boils down to referring. When it came down to the calls the Jump Man was pampered. Referees were in absolute love with Michael Jordan, and would call everything in his favor. In the final game of the NBA finals, Jordan so clearly pushed off his defender for the final shot and won the game. This favoritism is reversed in the case of Kobe. Had it been him in that situation the refs would have been on him tough, and never let the play stand.

So answer me this, who is the greatest player to ever grace Gods Green earth? A pampered overrated Jordan? Or a man who is leaving a lethal legacy of disgracing the opposition and tormenting defenders, all the meanwhile being double and triple teamed while surrounded by mediocre teammates. To take it old school, Kobe RULES and Jordan DROOLS.

Interesting analysis. I have six reasons why Jordan is a better player:
1991, 1992, 1993 and 1996, 1997, 1998.

Are you serious? What we have here is an obvious Laker Fan that can't hold their opinion back. You should have been a little more objective and backed up your claims with facts. (Continued…)

Kobe may be better, for a player drafted straight out of high school, but he comes off as an egotistical jackass. Jordan actually honed his skills in college, so Jordan is better

Michael Jordan won six NBA titles as the catalyst of an NBA dynasty. Kobe Bryant has three championships as the second wheel.

Jordan has five NBA MVPs and six NBA Finals MVPS. (Continued…)

Oh, and a few other things.

Mentioning how he's the youngest to a bunch of things is a horrible argument considering that Kobe came in the league straight out of high school. (Continued…)

You want to talk prolific scorers? Jordan averages 30.1 PPG regular season (tied with Wilt for NBA record) and 33.4 PPG in the playoffs (NBA record). Kobe only averages 25 PPG in the regular season and 24. (Continued…)

I LOVE THIS GAME

Michael Jordan is the greatest player and Bill Russell was the greatest winner to play the game. Kobe is a sykk player and hes high up there but no two players were the main component of teams that dominated like Jordan's and Russell's. (Continued…)
